Child punishments for no reason

As a child my parents were very #strict which | could understand but sometimes too strict isn't

the correct way to go about things.

Here are a few of my memories of when I was grounded and punished.

1 - I was always told off for answering back to either of my parents and every time I  did I had to write 100 lines on ‘I will not answer back’.

2 - I accidentally jammed the vhs in the ver player and wasn't allowed to watch any vhs for 6 weeks.

3 - I called my father a fuss pot in front of others which isn't rude and was sent to bed with no dinner.

My parents would always fight over something every day and whoever this happened my father would go off and disappear for hours.
